About the Role

We are currently recruiting a Payroll Administrator to join our team. Working alongside a super friendly group of colleagues you will administer payroll for around 9,000 colleagues, across several payrolls. This ranges from our Colleagues working in our Stores, to our Support Office Colleagues.

Due to the high volume, we are looking for you to have previous experience of administering payroll, as well as a full understanding of payroll legislation. The team use SAP payroll solution, and whilst it is highly desirable you have used this before, we understand you may have been using a different system. Microsoft packages are used daily, therefore a full understanding of Word, Excel & Outlook are a must. GDPR Legislation must also be adhered to.

Although this is a fixed term contract, it really is a great opportunity to learn, and build upon your skills you already possess.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing P45s and New Starter Checklists
• Assessing colleagues for inclusion into the company pension scheme in line with auto-enrolment
• Reconciliation of pension contributions files prior to submission to pension provider
• Support on the processing of expense claim
• Support the processing of P11d returns using 3rd party software
• Processing AOE and CSA deductions
• Calculating SMP/OSPP/SAP entitlements
• Calculating SSP and Company sick pay entitlements
