A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a forward thinking dentist to support the delivery of unscheduled urgent dental care within NHS Borders Public Dental Services (PDS). The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to deliver elective dental care to patients of the PDS with a focus on care for priority group patients.

There will be further opportunities available to gain additional experience managing elderly patients, domiciliary care, anxiety management and medically compromised patient care. This post is based in Kelso Health Centre, a Classification 1 Area, and may qualify for Recruitment and Retention Allowances of £25000 over two years as set down within the Statement of Dental Remuneration Determination XIII. There is also funding available to offer significant additional continuing professional development to the successful applicant.

The successful applicant will be based at Kelso Health Centre but will be expected to work across all NHS Borders PDS sites.

This post will appeal to experienced practitioners as well those at early stages in their career, wishing to further develop their clinical skills in a supportive environment.
