What are you going to do:
YoungCapital UK are currently recruiting for a Full Time SIA Security Officer to work for one of our well-known clients, supporting a busy shopping centre in Guildford. You would be working as part of a team as well as independently, this role is all about the protection of customers, the site and the people who maintain it.
Working as part of the security team, your job will be working in both the shopping centre itself, and also monitoring the CCTV from an assigned office. Full training will be given on the monitoring of security if this is something you haven't done previously or not very often.
This is an ongoing role, 5 days per week, there is also an opportunity for over time during busy period.
You will be:
- Working uniformly with other security officers
- Supporting visitors to the shopping centre and helping where you can
- Walking/patrolling the area
- Being a physical security presence
- Site entry and exit monitoring
- Managing conflict should it arise
- Monitoring CCTV (as mentioned, training is provided)
- Incident recording as well as any security & safety concerns
Hours of Work:
- Shifts are usually 07:30 to 18:30, work will be available from Monday to Sunday, so you will work weekends sometimes.
Pay Rate:
- Hourly pay rate of £11.82 per hour
