This role sits within the Client Change Management team who provide dedicated support to key clients in response to Client Initiated Change Requests. 

We are currently seeking a professional to join our team in the role of: Client Change Manager

The Client Change Manager will be accountable for the prioritisation, planning and delivery of client changes for their assigned HSS clients, as well as the management of some team members where appropriate.

 

Key responsibilities will include;

  • Supporting the client in the delivery of change requests, ensuring the progress of these are clearly communicated to the stakeholder throughout the process
  • Writing high level client requirements and improving change request processes to deliver change to clients in an efficient and cost effective manner
  • Support change reporting and MI within the team, reporting regularly and accurately
  • Ensuring a holistic view of all change requests for the client is understood and managed across the different teams across Product Delivery, Technology, Client Management and Service Delivery
  • Building key relationships with internal Securities Services stakeholders, ensuring that the team is aware of the forward load/roadmap and have the necessary plans in place to assist with delivery of these within the agreed parameters of the project.
Requirements

Ideal candidates for this position will have a demonstrated history of working within a change/project management function and be superior in their approach to stakeholder management. You will be confident in challenging process and pushing back when necessary and be able to articulate the status of the change portfolio. Candidates will have the ability to write context around MI and possess some experience of conducting high level business analysis.

Financial services experience is paramount in addition to some knowledge of fund administration and/or investment management/banking.

A professional Change Management/Project Management qualification would be advantageous.

The role has a hybrid working pattern allowing for home based and office based working at HSBC offices in Edinburgh.
