Performance and Business Manager - GPB IWS in London

The role holder will support across all performance, strategic cost, headcount and financial topics. The role holder enables an efficient, consistent model to manage performance topics, costs & headcount and ensure cost efficiency across GPB&W IWS. This includes direct and indirect cost management and managing specific initiatives that improve the performance and efficiency of GPB&W IWS. The role requires close coordination with all GPB&W IWS functions, regions, Finance as well as WPB RB&S.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive the strategic agenda for GPB&W IWS through effective management of costs and headcount.
  • Support on GPB&W IWS performance and cost strategic agendas (Pricing analysis, FTE Envelope, Cost Management Unit (CMU) etc.)
  • Ensure a consistent model for workforce and third party management across IWS; ensuring aligned single source of truth datasets for cost, headcount etc.
  • Maximize the efficiency and accuracy of the forecasting and tracking of business performance for IWS (Investment Revenue, Direct Cost, FTEs)
  • Drive GPB&W cost allocation methodology and recharge mechanism proposal and provide transparency to IWS Functions and Region/Booking centre.
  • Forward-looking view of potential future issues across the wider landscape that will impact the GPB&W IWS and COO and Digital Transformation agenda, pre-empting and propose resolution.
  • Work and partner with our offshore teams to identify and migrate relevant activities. Supporting upskilling of teams to streamline activities and deliver maximum efficiency.
Requirements

To be successful in your role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Knowledge of GPB&W – functionally, operationally and financially
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written and experience in preparing / delivering content for ExCo, OPCO, COO, Product Leadership team.
  • Collaborative nature, able to build effective relationships with multiple stakeholders and peers internally across multiple functions and business lines and effectively influence to achieve results
  • High-energy, detail-oriented and proactive with the ability to function under pressure in an independent environment.
  • High degree of initiative and self-motivation with a willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities
  • Excellent organizational skills, flexible and adaptable nature to manage a multi-faced role with changing priorities and assignments that are complex, unpredictable and time-sensitive
  • Extensive experience in Finance and understanding of best-in-class cost and finance management processes
