Staff Nurse - General Surgery H North in Glasgow

Full-time and part-time posts available. Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part-time hours.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for B5 Registered Nurses to join the Surgical Team in H North at Inverclyde Royal Hospital. H North is a 22-24 bedded surgical receiving ward, which admits unscheduled patients from ED, SAU and other specialties.
You will work within the nursing and multi-professional team to ensure a high standard of care to this defined group of patients.  You will competently perform the necessary technical/invasive/physical aspects of care for this defined patient group. 
You will provide good clinical leadership along with the SCN/CN for the assessment of patient needs, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care which are evidence based, utilizing all available resources taking into consideration the lifestyle, gender and cultural background and ensure involvement with the patient, family, carers and significant others. 
It is essential that you are currently a Registered Nurse with the NMC and it would be advantageous but not essential if you have relevant post registration experience within a surgical environment.

H North is a well established team that will provide good opportunities within a surgical receiving ward environment.

The shift pattern for this post is 11.5hrs rotational over 7 days
