HR Organisation and Change Program Manager – London or Birmingham – 12 month FTC or secondment

 

The opportunity

 

In response to the evolution of the global talent management processes under Symphony to continue to drive ongoing operational efficiency and commercial excellence, the HR Organisation &  Change program manager will work across all Service Lines to project manage or provide support on organisational change programs in response to the Firms growth agenda such as reorganisations, TUPE (both in and out of EY), Mergers, acquisitions headcount restructures and redundancies.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Provide sound and pragmatic advice on any change programs up to and including SL leadership and Partner level.  End to end management of programs will include, but not be limited to, attendance and participation at formal planning meetings, leading people elements of the projects and preparation of all associated documentation to ensure legislation consultation requirements are met
  • Works closely with STC and STLs to shape, plan and deliver change programmes across Service Lines
  • Analyse and assess the risks associated with individual programs, including the impact on the individuals, teams and wider business, consulting with the Employee Relations Team,  STL or CBS Talent Leader as appropriate  
  • Manage relationships with SL stakeholders including STC’s and STL’s by setting expectations, communicating status, analysing issues, responding to concerns and providing support throughout the process by applying commercial and pragmatic thought to available solutions
  • Working with the Cross Service line HR CoE Leader to provide regular reporting to key stakeholders
  • Support Cross Service line HR CoE Leader and HR Managers to provide coaching and support to HR Advisors within the Cross Service line HR CoE and other Talent Team colleague to upskill on their program change knowledge
  • Attend regular Talent meetings, where applicable or schedule own project meetings to take responsibility for the co-ordination and delivery of support for consultation and other aspects of change programs with the wider STC team

 

Skills and attributes for success
 

  • Highly skilled HR manager who is self-directive, self-managing and autonomous
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and complex situations and advise business and deal with senior leadership team stakeholders with limited support or guidance
  • Lead complex people change programs in a matrix environment
  • Strong knowledge of UK Employment Law 
  • Hands on experience of leading organisational change programmes and dealing with complex reorganisations, TUPEs, redundancies,  as well as capability management, disciplinaries, grievances, absence/OH cases, etc.

 

To qualify for the role you must have

 

  • Evidence of having dealt with busy work load in an organised manner, juggling multiple priorities and with attention to detail where there are competing demands on workload and deliverables
  • Strong written English, well structured and precise. Strong verbal influencing skills. Comfortable being in the detail and working with admin and data.
  • Comfortable with Excel (Intermediate level) and with manipulating data
