The opportunity

We are looking for a Junior Product Designer (UX/UI) to join our London office. You’ll work alongside more senior designers on meaningful client engagements, delivering amazing results. You’ll be hands-on everyday, determind to get into the detail and focussed on making sure we deliver the right product with the right approach. You’ll be designing digital products and services from discovery, to initial ideas, through to detailed wireframes and UI designs and validated prototypes.

Your key responsibilities
  • First and foremost, you’ll work alongside senior designers on significant Product Design engagements, delivering high quality and innovative design with critical, brilliant thinking and attention to the detail of your craft
  • You’ll work on complex digital products and services from discovery, to initial ideas, through to detailed wireframes and UI designs and validated prototypes
  • Build positive relationships and work directly with clients with supportive supervision
  • Contribute in workshops with clients
  • Help usability testing to validate and gather feedback on your designs
  • Constructively contribute to project team, and Product Design team, discussions
  • Collaborate with your peers to deliver blended solutions of Product Design, Service Design, Research and Strategy
  • Assure the delivery is managed within quality and risk parameters, aligned to EY standards and frameworks

  • A solid understanding of UX, UI and design, such as Research, Information Architecture and the latest methodologies, with passion for continuous learning
  • Ability to bring diverse perspectives to explore solutions with clients

  • Collaboration skills with colleagues, building working relationships based on open communication and mutual accountability

  • Oh, and your design work is simply amazing

 

 

To qualify for the role you must have
  • A thorough understanding of how products and services are created from the initial idea through to delivery into the hands of the customer
  • Experience working with the latest and greatest software from Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, Axure, Invision you’ll also know how to put together presentations in Powerpoint (yes, we hate it too)
  • Experience of the Product Design process that you can demonstrate through case studies and presentations, a strong portfolio is a must
  • Strong communication skills and ability to produce high-quality written deliverables
  • A willingness to travel and work in client sites, both in the UK and overseas as and when required

 

Ideally you’ll also have
  • An interest and some experience specialising in certain industries and sectors
  • An interest in future technology
  • Experience in agile software delivery environments
  • Bachelors and / or Masters degree in design or related subject areas or equivalent demonstrable experience
