Full-time Financial manager in Bushey Heath!

We are looking for a full-time Financial manager in Bushey Heath within a luxury travel company with a salary of £35k - £45k yearly.

40 hours per week

What are you going to do:

We are looking for a full-time Financial manager in Bushey Heath to ensure that financial & HR records are maintained in an orderly manner. You will report directly into the Group Chief Operating Officer, and be responsible for a team of 5 finance staff, plus one IT support assistant. 

Experience within the travel industry and working with systems as Amadeus are hard requirements! 

Financial & Cash Accounting:

  • To prepare a weekly cash flow forecast, for group income and expenditure and manage cash balances within agreed policies

  • To ensure best practice processes in place for the management of cash via purchasing cycle, ensuring visibility for payments and impact on cash

  • Manage foreign currency purchasing to meet payment needs

Management Accounting:

  • Completion of annual budget in conjunction with COO

  • Completion of quarterly forecasts in conjunction with COO

  • Completion of 3-year financial model, updated monthly with actual financial results

HR Services:

  • To manage the internal admin of the HR function for the Group

  • To ensure the online HR portal is administered within internal guidelines

IT Services:

  • To manage Capital expenditure budgets for IT

  • To manage the internal admin of the IT helpdesk function for the Group

Working hours:

This role is full time Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm, this role incorporates hybrid working!

What we ask:

  • At least finished university degree
  • Be able to Manage and develop a team of staff within the Finance & Shared Services function
  • Understanding of Management of payroll & all tax & PAYE returns is essential
  • Experience with HR processes is essential
  • At least 5 years as an Accounts/Finance Manager
  • Understanding of ATOL returns and other statutory and regulatory returns are essential
  • Experience with Amadeus and financing systems
