Join the housekeeping team at The Bridge Care Centre as a Bank Housekeeper and help maintain a clean and safe environment for some of the most vulnerable people in society, as well as staff and visitors.
Having the flexibility of working banks means you can pick up shift when it bests suits yourself, you will be part of an environment that has a strong emphasis on teamwork.
You will be responsible for deep cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms and visitors' areas.
Other Responsibilities Include:
- To carry out Housekeeping Operations in line with Departmental Procedures
- To use all chemical and machinery in line with Departmental Procedures, Health and Safety Regulations and Manufacturer's Instructions.
- To be Pro-Active in helping to further improve our service delivery through liaisons with the Manager
- To Promote and maintain professional relationships within the department and with visitors
- To act as a mentor to newly trained staff when required
- To be supportive as a team member, helping to provide a continued service during staff shortages
- To further improve relations particularly addressing good staff morale and staff retention
- Assist in reviewing industry improvements and research
- To effectively monitor usage of janitorial products and oversee the maintenance of storage areas
