About the role

We have a vacancy for an IT Governance & Risk Analyst to join our Governance, Risk & Compliance team

 

 In the role you will analyse and provide insight across IT governance, risk and compliance through;

  • Oversight and coordination of IT risk management and reporting
  • Coordination of annual IT audit plan including tracking and reporting closeout of findings
  • Supporting ad hoc governance activities and assurance of IT General Controls

 

Responsibilities

 

Risk Management

  • Coordinates and supports updates to IT quarterly risk reporting in line with company risk framework and associated timescales.
  • Coordinates and supports updates to IT Risk appetite, as required.
  • Supports IT operational risk identification and monitoring, offering support and guidance to teams.
  • Active maintenance of risk repository, ensuring risks are logged and updated on a regular basis and reflect accurate ownership, action updates and scoring.
  • Provision of accurate risk reporting for IT Risk Forum, monthly Leadership Team meetings and Information Security Steering Group meetings.
  • Supports development of IT operational risk management methodology and processes, ensuring alignment with company framework.
  • Adopts and encourages use of company GRC tooling.

 

Audit Coordination & Compliance          

  • Working with Group Audit and IT managers, coordinates and supports annual audit plan ensuring audits are diarised as scheduled with pre-start and close out review meetings.
  • Supports sign off of audit reports.
  • Coordination of evidence for close out of audit findings and updating GRC tool to reflect status.
  • Tracking and reporting of audit actions for monthly IT Leadership team meetings, providing ad hoc reporting as and when requested.
  • Act as IT contact and coordinator for all IT audit activity including annual financial audit.
  • Escalate areas of non-compliance to IT Governance, Risk & Compliance Manager.

 

Governance Risk & Compliance Support              

  • Supports IT Governance, Risk & Compliance manager with ad hoc governance requests Develop and support assurance reviews of IT General Controls in line with company governance requirements
  • Establish and maintain central repository for IT Policies.

 

We think you will thrive in this role if you have:

  • Working understanding IT governance and/or assurance role
  • An understanding of IT general controls and assurance lines of defence
  • Knowledge and experience of enterprise IT governance, including IT risk management and controls
  • Experience of tracking and reporting key metrics for a technology function
  • Experience of reviewing data to identify quality issues, anomalies or errors that need correcting and managing the corrective actions
  • Experience of working within a face paced change environment
  • Strong personal organisational skills, in order to manage and prioritise workload
