Role Description:
The Cryptography Service lead is responsible for operating as part of a global team within Cybersecurity to define and implement an industry-leading Cryptography Service that supersedes our constantly changing information security threats.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Cryptography operations team and support peers within the Cryptography and Cybersecurity functions to define and implement an industry leading Cybersecurity Service that supersedes our constantly changing information security threats
- Ensure adherence to the three lines of defence organisational model with clear lines of responsibility, accountability, and segregation of duties
- Responsible for the advocacy and design of Cryptography solutions, including Hardware Security Module, digital certificates, and key management
- Provide leadership and management to the regional Crypto operation to ensure projects, initiatives and tasks are planned and executed timely with available resource.
- Report to the Global Head of Crypto Operation, to provide inputs and support in defining the holistic and strategic directions of crypto operation in addition the day-to-day management. Timely report of issues and deficiencies.
- Forester the collaboration with teams and resources from around the world and across different domains within HSBC
- Plan the implementation of global and regional Cryptography projects by prioritising projects and defining project plan of actual implementation
- Define and follow detailed processes and procedures when implementing day-to-day operations of Cryptography
