We are recruiting for a Full-time finance administrator role in Birmingham. This is a permanent position, with hybrid working options.

36 - 40 hours per week

What are you going to do:

We are currently recruiting for a Full-time finance administrator role in Birmingham.

As a Finance Administrator you will be supporting the Finance Team based in the Birmingham city centre office. We are looking for someone with Accounts Payable experience, but the role will include other administration tasks making this role varied and interesting for the right candidate. We are looking for someone who can use their initiative, is confident in their approach and has
meticulous attention to detail. This is a newly created role adding to the Finance Team at a time of exciting growth for this business.

This is a permanent placement position. The hours are full-time, with hybrid working options. It is expected for you to be in the office 3 days per week. 

The annual salary range is £23.000 - £27.000!

Your duties & responsibilities are;

  • Managing invoice mailbox – Responding to supplier queries;
  • Completing accounts payable tasks;
  • Correct coding;
  • Assisting with funding requests;
  • Looking out for duplications and discrepancies in invoices;
  • Exporting reports;
  • Credit Card Reconciliation;
  • Uploading invoices to Xero;
  • Supplier Statement reconciliation;
  • Liaising with UK and international offices in the US;
  • Ensuring transactions are coded correctly in Xero;
  • Providing PO numbers and gaining authorisation;
  • PO / Invoice Reconciliation and PO register.

What we ask:

  • At least finished college BTEC levels
  • Experience in Accounts Payable / Reconciliations;
  • Experience of working in a professional environment;
  • Sound knowledge of Excel;
  • Legal experience desirable but not essential!
