Description

About the Role & You

We are recruiting a Registered Veterinary Nurse who has a minimum of two years’ experience, to join our Pets at Home Foundation, our registered charity. This is a great role where you will not only be using your experience daily, but also be supporting our adoption centres inside our Pets at Home centres. You will be offering advice and guidance to our Store Colleagues and Vets around the treatment of unwell adoption pets we have in store. You will also oversee the rehoming of our adoption pets. Not only this, but you will also be educating our Store Colleagues & Vet teams about correct processes and provide treatment authorisations. The role will require daily use of Excel as you will need to report regularly on vet bills and adoption statistics, therefore you should be competent in Excel and data management. Due to the nature of the role, we are looking for candidates who are confident in small animal husbandry, their common illnesses, and treatments. Experience of working in exotic referral is desirable but not essential. The role will require you to be in our Handforth office twice weekly.
