Adult Education Tutor - Employability, Retail and Customer Service Balance Education are currently working with a Training Provider who are looking for an Employability Tutor to join them on a permanent basis. The provider specialises in adult literacy and numeracy. They offer a range of courses and deliver across the South East. To date, they have helped in excess of 25,000 learners achieve nationally-recognised qualifications, enabling them to develop the skills they require to achieve their goals. The Adult Education Tutor will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality teaching, learning and assessment of online and classroom-based qualifications and programmes including Employability, Retail, Customer Service.

Responsibilities Undertake initial assessment that leads to Individual Learning Plans Deliver a course induction which introduces the programme and establishes expectations Maintain up to date subject knowledge that reflects industry standards Assess, monitor and provide constructive feedback Coach, guid and motivate learners Contribute to the ongoing development of schemes of work Complete registers and daily, weekly and monthly reports Person Specification

The employability tutor should be able to demonstrate the following

People focussed Positive and Enthusiastic Teamwork Quality focussed Problem solving Creativity and innovation Experience Needed

Some level of experience in retail or customer service Experience delivering up to and including Level 2 qualifications Experience working with adults in a learning environment

ADDITIONAL: The post holder will require a full driving license (and ideally the use of a vehicle), subject to the provisions of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 and must be willing to undertake travel as required. The post holder will be required to undertake a DBS check prior to confirmed role start
