Service Care Solutions is working alongside a expanding Local Authority, based in Greater Manchester, which is in need of a Prosecution solicitor to join their team.

This role pays a competitive rate of:

PAYE (Inc.Hol) - £44.48 - £48.87 per hour

Umbrella - £50-£55 per hour Umbrella

This role is on a 4-6month contract with potential to extend and is part time

Responsibilities as a Prosecution Solicitor:

• Manage a diverse caseload of criminal matters including theft, assault, drug offences, fraud, and public order offences.
• Represent clients during police station interviews (with out-of-hours availability, if required).
• Prepare and advocate cases in Magistrates’ Courts; instruct counsel for Crown Court trials.
• Draft legal documents, case summaries, and instructions to counsel.
• Advise clients on the strength of evidence and appropriate pleas.
