Contractor Resource Manager

Location: Glasgow

Type: Contract | Reports to: Associate Director

Team: <2 Direct Reports

Are you highly organised with a talent for managing people and processes? We're looking for a Contractor Resource Manager to take charge of end-to-end contractor lifecycle management and ensure smooth delivery of projects across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead sourcing, attraction, and recruitment of temporary staff
• Oversee onboarding and induction of new contractors
• Maintain contractor files and competency registers
• Plan and allocate resources for project delivery alongside the operations team
• Monitor workforce capacity to ensure successful project outcomes
• Support the upkeep of an audit-compliant Integrated Management System (IMS)
• Handle key admin tasks including client reporting, timesheet submissions, training coordination, and more
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to maintain clear communication
• Support the Associate Director with people management duties

Safety Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain safe working practices in line with legal and company standards
• Adhere to working time regulations and policies around drug and alcohol use
• Brief team members on safe systems of work and complete documentation as required

✅ What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Full UK driving licence (clean)
• 5 GCSEs (A-C) including Maths and English
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, SharePoint, Lists)
• Proven office management and business process experience

Preferred:

• Recruitment background
• Experience in railway/highways/rope access sectors
• Understanding of IR35 regulations
