The Role
As a Corporate M&A Associate, you will be involved in a wide variety of high-value transactions, including public and private M&A, private equity investments, joint ventures, corporate reorganisations, venture financings and carve-outs. Working closely with a diverse client base including multinational corporations, private equity sponsors and sovereign entities. You will play a key role in drafting and negotiating core transaction documents and managing complex, multijurisdictional issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on cross-border M&A, joint ventures, private equity deals and corporate reorganisations
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex transaction documentation
- Liaise directly with clients, senior counsel and opposing counsel
- Work closely with international colleagues to deliver coordinated advice
- Contribute to business development and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Requirements
- NQ - 2 years PQE, qualified in England & Wales
- Preference for candidates trained or retained by top-tier US or international firms
- Strong academic credentials
- Demonstrated experience in handling complex corporate transactions
- Excellent communication and drafting skills
- Collaborative, detail-oriented, and commercially astute
