About the Client:

An innovative IT service provider are searching for a dynamic HR officer to join their London team. An international private equity backed business, our client work to maintain an office environment whereby their employees feel engaged, cared for and have the tools needed to do a great job. Currently there are 35 employees in London – with plans to grow further!


About the HR Officer role:

This is a varied HR Officer role in which the successful candidate will be assisting with the full employee lifecycle and all operational people activities, as well as supporting on-going projects and new initiatives. This role is part of the UK Human Resources Department of two responsible for all global employees and contractors: Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Supporting the HR Manager to improve processes across all aspects of the employment cycle
  • First line response for employee queries and document requests, as well as guidance and advise on policies and procedures
  • Providing HR support to people managers on a wide range of HR issues
  • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing interview process from start to finish
  • Managing the on/off boarding process
  • Maintaining and developing appropriate data and metrics to inform appropriate decisions in relation to business and people related activities
  • Supporting critical projects as directed by the HR Manager
  • Liaising with external partners and suppliers on people and HR matters
  • Supporting and developing a continuous learning culture within the business
  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems

Candidate specification:

  • Proven experience as an HR officer, HR administrator or other HR position
  • Time management and organisation
  • Patience, Empathy and Passion for helping people
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge and application of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Share point
  • CIPD qualified (level 3 or 5) or working towards would be beneficial
  • Proficiency on HiBob is preferable
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Team-oriented and self-motivated
  • Ability to work under pressure
