Purpose of the role:

This is more than a technical role, it's an opportunity to be part of a thoughtful, forward-thinking culture where your contribution genuinely shapes client outcomes and the evolution of the firm. You'll build on your Chartered (CII) Paraplanning expertise within a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary firm recognised for excellence.

As a Chartered Paraplanner at Finura, you’ll thrive in a high-performance yet low-ego environment that values trust, collaboration, and continuous learning. You'll work closely with advisers, and occasionally directly with clients, to support them with timely, technically robust recommendations. Your input won’t be confined to back-office support: you’ll play an integral role in proposition development, investment governance, and wider strategic initiatives.

They are not looking for someone to just follow a process, they want a partner in their mission to elevate what financial planning can be.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • To establish a solid partnership with Advisers that offers an outstanding Paraplanning and tailored Client service that helps achieve Finura’s business goals

  • To occasionally support Advisers when meeting Clients virtually or face to face, by providing timely meeting minutes and producing high quality suitability reports, offering specialist advice and planning across Investment, protection, and pensions. This includes pension transfers, Defined Benefits schemes, and complex tax planning.

  • To form a solid partnership with the broader Paraplanning and Client Account Management team, to manage a structured but adaptable workflow to suit the demands of a dynamic practice.

  • To be competent and compliant during all stages of the research and report compilation.

  • To collaborate with the Paraplanning Manger and Advisers to offer the best solutions to fit the Client’s needs and wants.

  • To drive your own Continual Professional Development, strengthening areas where you have gaps in knowledge, and to work collaboratively with other team members to cross skill.

  • To assist the Paraplanning Manager in communicating and showcasing insights, rules, product, and tax changes to the broader team at Finura's monthly Connect meetings.

  • To join the Finura Proposition Governance Forum, where you will evaluate and approve standards and opinions for investments and providers.

  • To be an expert in technical knowledge, who is eager to impart their skills and insights to the team.

The Ideal Employee:

You are someone who brings together technical depth and clear, confident communication. You work pragmatically and with purpose, always keeping the client’s best interest at the centre. You’re collaborative by nature, energised by problem-solving, and excited to contribute to a workplace that values integrity, growth, and kindness.

Finura fosters a respectful culture where curiosity is encouraged and knowledge is freely shared. If you value working in a place where your ideas are heard and your development is supported, this could be the right fit for you.

Experience required:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a financial planning firm
  • Experience working with complex financial planning scenarios and regulatory compliance
  • Familiarity with Enable CRM, FE Analytics, and Microsoft Office
