Location: London, United Kingdom

Salary: £140,000 - 170,000 base.

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trade / Customs Legal Counsel to join their dynamic legal team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global leader in e-commerce and technology, helping shape our international trade strategy and ensure compliance with complex customs and trade regulations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on customs, trade, and import/export compliance matters affecting global operations.
• Support the development and implementation of global trade and customs compliance programs and policies.
• Monitor and analyze legal and regulatory developments in the UK, EU, and other key jurisdictions that impact supply chain and trade operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (logistics, procurement, tax, finance, public policy, etc.) to ensure compliance and drive efficiencies.

Basic Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or barrister (UK or equivalent jurisdiction).
• 3+ years of legal experience with a focus on international trade and customs law.
• In-depth knowledge of UK and EU customs regulations, WTO rules, and trade agreement mechanisms.
