Overview of Role

This position is with a major organisation in the Energy and Project Delivery space. They are currently seeking a Technical Advisor for their award winning Retrofit team. This role is key in delivering high-quality, compliant retrofit solutions aligned with PAS2035 standards. It involves technical oversight, project coordination, quality assurance, and stakeholder collaboration across active retrofit projects in the Social Housing sector.


Role Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Deliver Retrofit Coordination for live projects, ensuring compliance with PAS2035 standards and industry best practice.
  • Conduct Retrofit Assessments to evaluate property suitability and recommend effective energy efficiency measures.
  • Provide QA support across Retrofit Assessments, Coordination, and Designs, ensuring technical accuracy and issue resolution.
  • Verify project data and documentation for audit, compliance, and funding purposes.
  • Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and contractors to integrate retrofit measures into project plans.
  • Develop and maintain internal guides and training to standardise retrofit processes.
  • Stay informed on policy, funding, and technological developments to support continuous improvement.
  • Conduct pre- and post-installation evaluations to analyse retrofit performance.
  • Liaise with auditors and regulators to maintain compliance.
  • Support funding strategies and procurement with technical insight and compliance guidance.


Key Skills

  • Full UK Driving Licence with site travel flexibility
  • Qualified Retrofit Assessor with project delivery experience
  • Retrofit Coordinator qualification (or in progress)
  • Experience in energy efficiency or retrofit roles
  • Strong understanding of PAS2035, building regulations, and compliance frameworks
  • Competence in technical analysis and compliance reporting
  • Effective communicator and collaborator with internal/external stakeholders
  • Strong organisational and multitasking capabilities
