Aspiring Youth Worker – SEMH & Behaviour Support
South East London | Full-time, Term Time
Do you see yourself building a career in youth work, social care, or criminal justice? This role is the perfect first step.
We’re looking for passionate, resilient individuals to join a supportive school as Behaviour Mentors, working with pupils who have SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs and behavioural challenges.
Every day you’ll make an impact - helping young people regulate emotions, re-engage with learning, and build the confidence to thrive inside and outside the classroom.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting young people 1:1 and in small groups with behaviour and emotional regulation
- Acting as a positive role model and trusted mentor
- Helping pupils develop the social skills they need for future success
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and agencies to provide wraparound support
