Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented NCR officer to join our team in Bristol. In this key role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with international standards and exceeding customer expectations.
As a QA Engineer, you will lead initiatives related to non-conformance management and corrective actions, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders and driving root cause analysis to deliver effective, lasting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System in alignment with international standards.
- Lead the investigation and resolution of non-conformities through effective root cause analysis and stakeholder coordination.
- Support internal and external audits, and ensure timely follow-up on audit findings.
- Provide guidance on quality documentation and best practices.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.
- Contribute to the development of training programmes and quality performance indicators.
- Prepare quality reports for management reviews and deliver quality-related training sessions as needed.
- Ensure quality remains a core focus in all aspects of the project.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role, preferably within a highly regulated industry (e.g., nuclear, aerospace, O&G, etc.).
- Strong understanding of QMS standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, FMEA).
- Experience conducting audits and managing audit findings.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead and influence in a cross-functional environment.
- Passion for continuous improvement and a proactive mindset.
