Regional Managing Surveyor – South


The Role

We are supporting a rapidly expanding national surveying business that’s looking to add a Regional Managing Surveyor to their leadership team. This is a rare opportunity to combine hands-on surveying expertise with people leadership, helping to mentor and inspire a growing team of surveyors while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a regional team of surveyors to hit targets around service, quality, and client satisfaction
  • Support new starters and less experienced surveyors with hands-on development and guidance
  • Conduct regular team briefings, CPD events, and catch-ups to keep surveyors engaged and connected
  • Collaborate closely with central operations, bookings, and audit teams to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Provide feedback and contribute to continuous improvements in processes, technology, and survey standards
  • Undertake residential surveys and valuations to stay sharp and lead by example
  • Represent the business as a brand ambassador, maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive knowledge and technical expertise across residential surveying
  • RICS membership (MRICS/FRICS/AssocRICS) and VRS registered
  • Strong people leadership skills with proven ability to inspire, mentor, and develop others
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, both with clients and colleagues
  • A pragmatic problem solver with strong organisational skills and a track record of meeting deadlines
  • Customer-focused mindset with experience delivering outstanding service
  • Eligible to work in the UK and able to complete pre-employment screening


Desirable:

  • Familiarity with iPad-based surveying tools and apps
  • Strong presentation skills and confidence leading group sessions


The Package:

  • £60,000 - £75,000 basic salary
