To support this growth, Harrison Clarke are seeking a Principal Researcher (Talent) to join our impactful Research team who are building the next generation of billion-dollar startups.


As a Principal Researcher, you’ll leverage your deep industry expertise to partner with founders and senior technical leaders, skillfully investigating their vision to source exceptional senior engineering talent. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping Harrison Clarke’s research strategy, mentoring Researchers and Senior Researchers, and driving operational excellence.


What You’ll Own

  • End‑to‑end recruitment: Manage the full-cycle technical recruiting process. You'll own top-of-funnel strategy, drive searches, and run point on offers and closing candidates..
  • Sourcing excellence: Work closely with hiring managers to define what "excellent" looks like for a given role. Develop and execute sourcing strategies to build pipelines of highly qualified candidates, leveraging tools and creative outreach.
  • Repeatable Processes: Build and maintain a strong pipeline of talent across Cloud, Data and AI by proactively sourcing and engaging top-tier engineering talent.
  • Candidate experience: Ensure a smooth experience for every candidate, with clear communication and timely updates throughout the process.
  • Client Pipeline Meetings: Facilitate and lead pipeline meetings with client recruiting teams, that will continuously improve and scale our recruiting operations.


Who You Are

  • 5+ years of full‑cycle recruiting with a heavy focus on scaling early‑stage engineering teams.
  • Proven closer: You have landed senior/staff‑level engineers in competitive markets and can articulate your win stories.
  • High technical bar: You understand modern ML and software stacks well enough to separate signal from noise.
  • Autonomous & decisive: You are comfortable operating as a team of one, making trade‑offs quickly, and iterating without hand‑holding.
  • Intellectually curious: You possess the ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly and converse credibly with engineering experts.
