Funds Lawyer in London Area

One Ten Associates are partnering with a leading Investment Manager that is looking to hire an experienced Funds Legal Counsel to join their Legal & Compliance team, based in London.

The primary focus will be to provide legal oversight across AIFs and UCITs fund structures covering multiple jurisdictions. In addition, you'll receive broader generalised legal tasks whilst supporting the General Counsel with wider duties.

Duties will include:

• Provide legal advice on the structuring, marketing and ongoing management of AIFs
• Draft, review and negotiate fund documentation including (but not limited to) LPA/LLPs, investment management agreements (IMA), side letters etc...
• Provide legal and regulatory advice in relation to AIFMD, UCITS and MIFID II
• Overseeing/managing formation of new funds and updates across existing funds
• Exposure across private markets legal work including venture capital deals and new fund launches
• Working with the wider team in advising across commercial legal matters (employment, IP, supplier/vendor agreements etc...)

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2-5 year PQE, ideally with experience within an Investment Funds/Asset Management team within private practice
• Regulated funds experience/knowledge (AIFs, UCITs, OEICs etc...)
