Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It

As a Capital Modelling Actuary, you will be a key driver of our capital agenda. You will:

• Partner with the Head of Capital to deliver the full spectrum of modelling activities, including model development, parameterisation, validation, and documentation.
• Aid the delivery of crucial model outputs that inform business planning, monitor risk appetite, and satisfy regulatory submissions.
• Act as a key strategic partner to a diverse range of departments, including Reserving, Risk, Ceded Reinsurance, Underwriting, and Investments, ensuring our model is a true reflection of the business.
• Champion the integration of capital insights into core business decisions, making your work tangible and impactful.
• Drive the continuous improvement of our modelling platform, focusing on enhancing efficiency, governance, and usability for all stakeholders.

What You'll Bring to the Table

We're looking for someone who is passionate about using capital modelling to solve complex business problems.

• Experience: You are a nearly or newly qualified actuary (or have equivalent experience) with a strong background in capital modelling from the insurance or reinsurance sector.
• Technical Skills: You have hands-on expertise with capital modelling platforms like Igloo, Tyche, or a similar software.
• Communication: Capable of communicating complex quantitative concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders and senior leaders.
