Urban Designer – Newcastle upon Tyne

We’re representing a well-established architectural and urban design studio of around 28 people, known for creating thoughtful, buildable residential layouts and masterplans.

With a strong reputation and long-term relationships with major national housebuilders, they’re looking to grow their team with a talented Urban Designer who can bring creative flair and solid technical understanding.

What you’ll be doing:

• Developing housing layouts and masterplans for residential and mixed-use sites
• Producing concept and detailed drawings (Revit experience ideal)
• Collaborating closely with Architects, Technicians and Planners
• Balancing great design with planning and commercial requirements
• Attending occasional site visits and client meetings

What they’re looking for:

• Experience in housing layout or master planning work
• Strong Revit/AutoCAD skills
• Understanding of UK planning and design standards
• A collaborative approach and a good eye for design detail
• Driving licence preferred (for site visits)
