Role Summary

As Vice President within the Transaction Liability Team, you will lead corporate real estate transactions and support the growth of a high-performing team. This role requires strong M&A execution capabilities, technical expertise, and a client-first mindset.


Role Level: Senior Client Executive

Division: Transaction Liability

Business Unit: Transaction Liability


Key Relationships:

  • Reports to: Senior Vice President – Transactional Risks
  • Works closely with other members of the Transaction Liability Team


Ideal Experience


The ideal candidate will be an experienced corporate lawyer, likely with senior associate experience in a top-tier law firm or corporate environment.


  • UK Qualified Corporate M&A and/or Private Equity Lawyer (5+ years PQE).
  • Broad ranging transactional experience
  • Strong background in real estate M&A is a plus but not pre-requisite.
  • Proven execution and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client-facing capabilities.
  • Business acumen and problem-solving orientation.
  • Experience with transaction liability products (preferred but not essential).


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute complex corporate real estate transactions.
  • Drive new business development and client acquisition.
  • Enhance the transaction liability offering and market positioning.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical excellence.
  • Act as a key resource on policy wordings and transaction documentation.


Key Accountabilities

  • Business Development: Initiate and close new business opportunities.
  • Deal Leadership: Manage deal teams and processes, including:
  • Leading client and advisor discussions.
  • Advising on coverage scope and insurance structures.
  • Reviewing due diligence reports and transaction documents.
  • Negotiating with insurance markets.
  • Driving deals to successful close.
  • Technical Expertise: Develop market-leading policy wordings and support complex policy matters.
