Management Accountant – Ascot Berkshire - £45,000 - £52,000 + benefits (onsite)

FryerMiles is working with a leading SME company to hire a Management Accountant on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced hands-on Accountant to help optimise financial processes and ensure accurate transactional flows within the organisation. This is a fast growing company going from strength to strength.

The duties of the Management Accountant include:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and commentary in line with group reporting deadlines.
• Monitor project performance, analysing actual costs against budgets, forecasts, and contract values in conjunction with the commercial department.
• Provide financial insight to project managers and site teams, helping drive efficiency and profitability.
• Support cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and subcontractor payment processes.
• Assist in preparation of budgets, reforecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Ensure compliance with CIS (Construction Industry Scheme), VAT, and other relevant HMRC regulations.
• Maintain and reconcile job costing systems, ensuring accuracy of cost allocations and WIP reporting.

The successful Management Accountant will:

• Desired but not essential - Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Ability to develop and sustain relationships with suppliers.
• Confident and effective telephone skills when taking calls as required.
• Confident use of Microsoft Excel including using VLOOKUP’s and other formulas.
• Ability to prioritise and organise own workload to ensure that deadlines are adhered to
• Previous experience within the construction industry (essential), with strong knowledge of job costing, WIP, and CIS.
