Role Description

This is an agency position based in the Manchester Area, for a Supply Teacher in Greater Manchester. The Supply Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, following existing lesson plans, and adapting teaching styles to meet diverse student needs. Key responsibilities include fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment and ensuring student engagement and progress. The candidate will collaborate with school staff to meet educational goals and uphold neuro-affirming teaching practices.

Qualifications

• Relevant teaching qualifications (e.g., QTS or equivalent) and demonstrable experience in mainstream or specialised education settings
• Lesson Planning and Teaching skills to ensure effective and engaging delivery of curriculum content
• Education and Training expertise to foster a positive, inclusive and neuro-affirming learning environment
• Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents
• Adaptability to diverse classroom dynamics and individual learning needs
• Commitment to neurodiversity inclusion and understanding of neurodivergent learners’ needs
• Experience with inclusive or therapeutic education models is a plus
