About the Roles


We are seeking passionate and knowledgeable Lecturers in Arboriculture and Agriculture to join our academic team. The successful candidates will deliver high-quality teaching, contribute to curriculum development, and inspire the next generation of land-based professionals.

You will bring expertise, enthusiasm, and industry insight to support learners in developing practical skills and theoretical understanding in areas such as tree management, sustainable farming, plant science, and environmental stewardship.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lectures, practical sessions, and fieldwork in Arboriculture and/or Agriculture.
  • Design, develop, and assess learning materials that meet course objectives and accreditation standards.
  • Support and mentor students through their academic and vocational journeys.
  • Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge and integrate emerging trends and technologies into teaching.
  • Participate in curriculum review, quality assurance, and departmental activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to enhance teaching delivery and student employability.


Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • A relevant degree (or higher) in Arboriculture, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd) or willingness to obtain one.
  • Proven experience in the industry or academic setting.
  • Strong understanding of current industry practices, legislation, and sustainability principles.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
