Group Financial Controller

Elevation Recruitment Group are excited to be partnering with a privately owned marketing organisation in Leicester who are looking for a Group Financial Controller to support the next stage of its growth. The business is fast paced, commercially active and currently turning over around £200m. This role sits right at the centre of that activity.

You will take ownership of the financial rhythm of the group. Month end. Year end. Multi-currency consolidation. Statutory reporting for the UK and Ireland. You will be the person who ensures that everything is accurate, on time and supported by strong financial controls. The organisation is growing, so there is plenty of scope to improve processes, strengthen governance and make better use of digital tools and financial systems.

You will lead a capable team and help them develop, while also working closely with senior leaders across the business. Cashflow, working capital, balance sheet management and financial planning will all fall within your remit. You will also maintain relationships with auditors, tax advisors and banking partners, offering stability and clarity in a very commercially active environment.

To thrive here, you will need to be a qualified accountant with strong technical knowledge and experience operating at group level. You should be confident, calm under pressure and comfortable communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.
