Workday Trainer: Drive HR & Finance System Success (9-Month FTC)


Are you passionate about turning complex systems into simple, engaging learning experiences? We're seeking a talented Workday Trainer to champion system adoption and user competency for a leading organisation in the HR sector.


The Mission


Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, you will be the go to expert for Workday training. Your primary focus will be designing and delivering engaging training programmes for users across Human Capital Management (HCM) and the Foundational Data Model (FDM), ensuring our teams maximise the value of the Workday system.


Your Role: The Full Training Cycle


  • Design & Create: Partner with experts to define learning needs and outcomes. Develop high-impact content, including user guides, videos, e-learning modules, and FAQs.
  • Deliver: Lead dynamic, hands-on training sessions (virtual and in-person) for various user groups on HCM and FDM.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with HR, Finance, IT, and Communications teams to ensure training aligns with the overall change management strategy.
  • Elevate: Continuously gather feedback and analyse data to refine training materials, improve user experience, and ensure everything reflects the latest system enhancements.


What You'll Need to Bring


  • Workday Expertise: Deep, practical knowledge of Workday HCM and Finance functionality and configurations.
  • Training Track Record: Demonstrable experience training users and supporting the implementation of Workday HR and Finance modules.
  • Learning Mastery: Strong understanding of instructional design, adult learning methodologies, and translating technical processes into clear, accessible content.
  • Key Skills: Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills. Experience collaborating effectively across different business teams.
  • Tool Knowledge: Familiarity with digital learning tools like LMS platforms, MS Teams, and authoring software (e.g., Articulate).
