HR Lead | Defense Sector

Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days home)
We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Lead to join a growing organisation operating within the defence and advanced technology sector.
This is a unique opportunity to play a strategic and operational-led role in a highly regulated, mission-critical environment supporting programmes that contribute to national security and defence capability. We are seeking an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting and can partner effectively with leadership teams to drive culture, performance, and organisational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
- Deliver on operational HR initiatives
- Provide trusted HR guidance and support to managers and senior leaders
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture
- Supporting and preparing for a TUPE project
- Manage employee relations and support conflict resolution
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition activities
- Support workforce planning and organisational development
- Drive performance management and employee development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and internal standards
- Maintain HR systems, reporting, and data integrity
What We’re Looking For:
- CIPD Level 5 qualified
- Minimum 2 years’ HR experience
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice,
- Experience operating within a regulated or technical environment is advantageous
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence and support managers on people-related matters
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
