Primary Teacher – Durham & Surrounding Areas

Location: Durham & Surrounding Areas

Pay: £145 – £232 per day

Hours: Monday – Friday | Full-time/Part-time

Start Date: Immediate


About the Role – Primary Teacher

Milk Education is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teachers to work across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Durham and surrounding areas.

Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an ECT, this is a fantastic opportunity to secure flexible work or a longer-term role, starting immediately. You’ll have the chance to deliver engaging lessons, support pupil progress and make a real impact in the classroom.


Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality teaching across EYFS, KS1, or KS2

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies

Assess and monitor pupil progress

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff


Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting

Strong classroom management skills

Passion for supporting children’s learning and development

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
