This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. ​​​​​​​To work as an autonomous mental health nursing practitioner within the CAMHS team and provide a comprehensive patient coordination service for Children and Adolescents (Inpatient) across the mental health Multidisciplinary Care Teams in the Royal Children’s and Young Peoples Hospital.

The post holder will be responsible for maximising service provision, liaising with other Mental Health Care Service providers and ensuring the safe and effective delivery of clinical practice whilst ensuring local and national guidelines and targets are adhered to and met.

To ensure that there is efficient and effective bed usage throughout the Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service facilitating safe and timely emergency and urgent admissions, ensuring optimum patient flow, repatriation of patients boarding in/from other areas along with safe discharging of patients.

The post holder will support the clinical teams with Admission, Discharges, Transfers, Patients going on Pass. ​​​​​​​
