This is a permanent post, a variety of 37.5hrs, 34.65hrs and 23.10hrs will be considered. Shift pattern: Rotational days/nights 11.55 and 7.5 hour shifts
The potholder will assist the Senior Charge Midwife to deliver high quality evidence based woman and baby centered care.
S/he will be involved in providing both individualised patient care and in planning, implementing and evaluating clinical care within all areas of the maternity service, ensuring
compliance with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (GG&C) policies and procedures and maintaining statutory requirements in accordance with the NMC.
The post holder delivers a high quality service, providing clinical intervention to clients in a range of locations including hospitals, health centre’s and patient homes.
If working in the community setting, there will be a requirement to be on-call for home Births and to be a car driver.
The post holder must be a registered midwife.
