Consultant Physicians- Respiratory Medicine in Inverness

£87,534 - £116,313 pro rata per annum pro rata

Due to the expansion of the Respiratory Department, an exciting opportunity for 2WTE Consultant Physicians has arisen based at Raigmore Hospital.

There is an enthusiastic team of medical staff, specialist nurses and AHPs who collectively deliver services covering sleep/NIV, cystic fibrosis, lung cancer, ILD, airways management and a pleural procedure service.

These posts are to provide Respiratory Medicine expertise, including an area of special interest, and also contribute to general medicine admissions. It offers the challenge of delivering high quality health care to patients living in remote locations and the opportunity to perform peripheral clinics.

The Highlands offer a unique environment for a variety of leisure activities, and good schools and facilities for families.

This post is offered as 10 Programmed Activities per week (8PA DCC and 2SPA), the details of which are indicated in the job description and generic job plan.  Applications from individuals who wish to work LTFT or work flexibly are welcome.

Applicants must be on the GMC Specialist Register for General Medicine, or Respiratory Medicine, and with a Licence to Practise or be within 6 months of being eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register at the time of interview.
