The Role

As a Business Change Lead, you will work with various teams across the business to understand the impact of change on our colleagues, shape the strategy for engagement, adoption and sustaining the change, help build communications and training plans, engage with stakeholders and bring the change to life. You will report to a Business Change Partner and work with various teams across the group. You will work with Office programs such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Forms and other tools that we use to support building comms, such as PageTiger.

 

You should be passionate about the business, understanding our culture, values, behaviours, and challenges and be the constant ‘voice’ of the colleague for the change you are representing.

 

Experience, knowledge, and expertise required:

  • Exceptional communications skills, with excellent active listening skills
  • The ability to be influential and bring others on the journey
  • Be flexible and adaptable – working within an agile framework
  • The ability to work collaboratively within the business change team and across other departments in the group
  • Be analytical and have excellent problem-solving skills
  • The ability to ensure methodologies and frameworks are followed and actions prioritised accordingly
  • Support others through knowledge sharing and coaching and be motivated and have a positive attitude to self-development
  • Change qualifications are not essential for this role and any training needs will be supported by the Business Change Partners.

 

The successful candidate will receive full support and any required training, coaching or mentorship for this role and a full and structured induction will be part of this process. Ways of working, methodologies and frameworks will all be provided to support you with this. You should have a strong appetite for self-learning and willingness to step out of your comfort zone when required. Having the right approach and attitude is the key to success.

 

This role will work flexibly to meet the needs of the business in relation to change. Whilst it may be home based, there will be the requirement and flexibility to travel and work across the group,

including time in stores, practices, support offices and Distribution Centre’s. You will also be provided with a company laptop and mobile phone.
