BAND 6 - £33,072 - £40,736

  37.5 hours per week – Full Time, Permanent

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual able to react and think quickly on how to deal with breakdowns within the NHSH estate and efficiently arrange for contractors or in house trades teams to carry out work safely. The post is full time and based in the Estates Department preferable at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness although other locations shall be considered at bases in our other hospitals for the right candidate. There will be a requirement to travel to sites all over NHSH. The position will require effective management and prioritisation to provide continual service delivery for patient care.

Applicants should have the relevant qualifications stated in the job description in an engineering/ building discipline or time served equivalent, with experience in the provision of maintenance or construction supervision and responsible for a team. A working knowledge of related statutory legislation and use in Microsoft software packages is essential.  Applicants should also possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational skills and be able to work well with in team.
