The Client Assets Oversight Office, with responsibility at legal entity level, is pivotal to ensuring that the organisation maintains strong standards and the highest levels of compliance across a broad range of businesses and products.

We are currently seeking a professional to join our team in the role of: Client Assets Oversight Office Manager


Reporting to the Client Assets Oversight Office Lead, you will be responsible for driving a robust CASS framework across a federated business model.

 
Key responsibilities will include;

  • Managing entity level CASS governance process and being responsible for breach analysis
  • Analysing and reviewing regulatory reports set out and agreed by the CASS entity governing body
  • Providing challenge function to support Client Money & Assets Return (CMAR) regulatory reporting obligations to the FCA
  • Conducting thematic reviews, deep dives and carrying out consultancy reviews ensuring all CASS guidelines are adhered to
  • Producing material and taking minutes for committee meetings and contributing to field and relatable project work
Requirements

Ideal candidates for this position will have a demonstrated history of ‘hands on’ CASS oversight office experience from within a large organisation. You will have a strong understanding of CASS governance and can confidently perform reviews and analyse regulatory data. As the Oversight Office Manager you will be comfortable in challenging process and enjoy presenting ideas. A strong influencer with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders from within different business functions, you will possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to work across a variety of teams and entities.

The role has a hybrid working pattern allowing for home based and office based working at HSBC offices in London.
