Specialist Occupational Therapist, Band 6, Alloway Centre in Dundee
Job description
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an HCPC registered Occupational Therapist to join the Tayside Adult Autism Consultancy Team (TAACT) which works from a base in Dundee and provides assessment, intervention and consultancy services for adults with Autism across Tayside.
Recognising that this is an area of specialist practice, we are seeking an individual with previous experience or training in working with people who have sensory and praxis challenges or is willing to undertake ongoing training in post in order to develop this skill set. Further training will be provided and your support and supervision will be given by a Band 7 Occupational Therapist who is an Advanced Sensory Integration Practitioner. Therefore, we require an individual who will enjoy working in a growing area of practice within a multi-disciplinary team committed to the assessment and post diagnostic support of Adults with Autism.

The post will be managed and supervised by a Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist for TAACT and Community Mental Health Teams.
