What are you going to do:

With a job as a delivery driver, you’ll get to know your city like the back of your hand. It’s safe to say that this is one of the most flexible jobs out there, and requires little to no experience. One of the more common options is working a job as a takeaway food delivery driver. You’ll be zipping around town on your ebike, motorcycle, or in a car; that’s an option we’ll leave up to you! If you want a job delivering by car, just be aware that you’ll need a valid driving licence. Most of these kinds of delivery jobs require you to work with multiple restaurants, so it’s important that you have good communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. The biggest perk is that you can work flexible hours, and schedule your part-time delivery job into weekends, evenings, or whenever suits you.

Our delivery jobs also include courier work delivering parcels and post. Your main task is to collect, sort, and deliver parcels or post based on a specified route. Parcel delivery jobs are often done by car or van, and you’ll need to be an excellent navigator; you won’t have time to get lost! If you’re driving larger loads or items, you’ll also help with loading and unloading. With a job as a courier driver, no day will be the same, so boredom is hard to come by. To succeed as a delivery driver, you should be polite and prompt with a commitment to provide excellent service. You should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, and committed to work safety. We work with DPD, one of the UK’s top parcel delivery companies, who offer great courier work

So how much can you earn when you become a delivery driver? The average salary is about £8-£12 per hour. If you’re just starting out in food delivery, for example, you’ll be at the lower end of the pay scale. If you’re delivering large loads by van or truck, you’ll be earning significantly more; it all depends on your experience and expertise! So, are you ready to get the show on the road? Apply for this delivery driver job pool vacancy today!

Please note: this is a pool vacancy. That means this delivery job vacancy is always open to apply for, even if there aren’t currently delivery jobs available. Join our pool of candidates, and we’ll let you know as soon as new delivery work pops up.
