LTSB is a social mobility charity dedicated to helping young people into the world of work through our employment programmes. Our Business and Finance employment programme is tailored to give you the training and skills to succeed in your chosen career. We will provide you with a genuine insight into the Business & Finance sector and help your professional development by delivering interview coaching, CV workshops, critical thinking, communications, debating and presentation skills which are all delivered by our experienced Careers Development Managers. We also include insight events and Q&A with leading companies, business professionals and LTSB Alumni.
Our LIVERPOOL programme is partnered with global accountancy and business advisory firm BDO. You will be interviewing for a level 3/4 apprenticeship in their shared service centre which delivers a diverse range of vital business services. You will also achieve an accredited Level 2 Sports Leaders Award led by Liverpool FC Foundation. This programme is 12 weeks long and part-time.

BDO Shared Service Centre (SSC) delivers a diverse range of vital business services including compliance, finance, workflow and data management, providing essential support across the firm.
The SSC’s deliver high volume business services within BDO across the UK. By streamlining processes, the SSC free up time for regional teams to spend more time helping clients to succeed.
There are various areas of business that the functional hubs deliver, these include;
Tax
Audit support
Data analytics
Accounts preparation
Business support
If you want to take your first steps into the world of Accounting, Finance or Compliance within a professional services environment, this is for you.
The roles that BDO are currently working to fill with the support of LTSB are in Accounting and Business Support.
We are looking for young people aged 18 – 21 who are passionate about building a career Business & Finance Sector. You don’t need previous experience, but you do need to show evidence of an interest in the sector.

What we ask
- No minimum education required
- Aged between 18 – 21
- 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including Maths & English

Salary is over the national standard living wage and the contract on offer
is a full term contract in an apprenticeship role at level 3 or 4.
