We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our team as a Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) Management and Delivery Manager, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

Role Purpose

Global RRP is a function of Global Treasury and is led by the Head of Group Recovery and Resolution Planning.  The team is the custodian of the Group Recovery and Resolution Strategy, which includes the management of our capabilities to recover in a severe stress and if unsuccessful our ability to be resolved and restructured in an orderly way.

The Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) Management and Delivery Manager will report to the RRP Management and Delivery Lead. The team is the custodian of the Group Recovery and Resolution Strategy, which includes the management of our capabilities to recover in a severe stress and if unsuccessful our ability to be resolved and restructured in an orderly way. 

The purpose of this role is to help manage and co-ordinate Global RRP submissions to a standard which meet regulatory and board expectations.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist the development and maintenance of the Group Recovery Plan (GRP) for submission to regulators
  • Help oversee and co-ordinate the biennial Group Resolvability Assessment Framework (RAF) Self–Assessment for submission to regulators
  • Develop jointly project and resourcing plans to support delivery of GRP and RAF self-assessment, defining inputs required from business, function and legal entity stakeholders
  • Track progress - manage Management Information (MI), reporting and analysis when required
  • Help review and challenge Group submissions and the capabilities maintained within businesses, functions and legal entities to support Group submissions
  • Supply content to assist the Report to Global RRP Management Committee on progress, risks, issues and content
  • Provide cover for the RRP Management and Delivery Lead where required
Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • RRP and associated technical skills and applicable experience
  • Experience in both regulatory engagement and training is advantageous
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrable expertise in planning and organization of complex tasks
  • Creativity, critical thinking and ability to identify problems and propose solutions
  • Ability to deliver high quality written work with an attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills - ability to present complex issues in a clear and articulate way, to both technical and non-technical audiences at a peer and senior management level
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple assignments, prioritise workloads and work under time pressure
