Our EY SAP team is focused on working with our clients to leverage these SAP innovations and create business value. We are looking for an individual with a proven SAP project Management background who can assist our clients on their business transformation journeys and large-scale SAP implementation projects.

The successful candidate will be a business-focused SAP delivery professional who can contribute to the building of a rapidly growing programme management capability in EY. We are looking for an individual who has been there and done it and embraces not only the ever-evolving approaches and methods of delivering transformational projects but also embraces the supporting technology.

Your key responsibilities
At Manager level you will be leading key work streams within complex programmes and project engagements working directly with senior stakeholders of leading UK businesses. In your role as an EY Manager you will have responsibility for delivering key aspects of our projects and transformation programmes within our client base.

Skills and attributes for success
You will have knowledge and experience of the following:

• A strong and proven background in the successful delivery of key workstreams within large and complex programme engagements in the SAP domain 
• Leading teams and third parties to successfully deliver contracted work through constant and clear communication and the development of relationships amongst client peer groups and senior business stakeholders
• Have a good working knowledge of project delivery approaches including both traditional waterfall and agile methods and how these can be best leveraged to ensure a successful outcome for both EY and its clients

To qualify for the role you must have

• Played a key role in a minimum of two end to end SAP programme engagements 
• Demonstrated ability in leading key workstreams across broad technical or business disciplines
• A strong independent problem-solving approach
• Proven commercial acumen, including management of Fixed Price and Time & Materials projects.
• Experience of managing on-premise, cloud and hybrid delivery models.
• Using and managing the Global delivery model and distributed teams
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build ‘Trusted Adviser’ relationships
• Experience of delivering within a programme using Waterfall, Hybrid-Agile and Agile methods (eg. Scrum, Lean, Kanban) 
• Willingness to travel as required in relation to working at Client Sites on specific engagements   

Ideally, you will also have

• Some level of international implementation experience required
• Experience of leading Cloud based implementations (including SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur)
• Experience of delivering within a large business transformation programme
• Experience of leading workstreams which delivered project engagements using a mixture of On-site, Off-site, Near-shore and Off-shore delivery capabilities
• A foundation in a SAP technology or functional area
• An ability to articulate and present different points-of-views on various SAP technologies
• An understanding of the SAP roadmap and industry trends

What we look for
You will be comfortable leading a multi-disciplinary workstream, where you operate collaboratively with clients to help them digitize their business processes utilizing the latest SAP technology.
 
Core consulting skills
Client Stakeholder Management, IT Planning, Risk Management, Cost Management and Project Planning.

Technical skills
A good working knowledge of Project Management methods and an understanding of SAP technologies.
 
Market/ Sector knowledge
Demonstrable sector or industry working knowledge in any of the key markets of Energy and Resources, Health Sciences and Wellness, Consumer, TMT and Government Local or National would be a distinct advantage.
