What are you going to do:
Boardroom Matters is looking to attract a bright university student studying economics, accountancy, maths or a comparable analytical subject to undertake around 10 hours research work per week, for one of its clients who is based in Knaresborough. The work involves identifying FTSE listed top 250 companies or those likely to be shortly listed, that pay a regular dividend and are likely to increase their share value over the next 12 – 18 months. There is also interest in the US market and especially the Dow Jones index to identify companies with shares on the rise or wane.
The work undertaken is in support of an investment strategy for a North Yorkshire based investment business. The successful applicant will need to drill down into specific industries and from analytical analysis determine likely future winners and also which shares should be dropped because of changes in industry or consumer requirements or even pending court actions which could drain resources.
Candidates must be articulate and able to quickly answer follow up questions, due to the volatility of the stock exchange.
