Job description

Introduction
If you care for others without a second thought and are looking for a rewarding career where you can make a difference and changes lives for the better, then a Senior Healthcare Assistant and Healthy Living Champion at the modern purpose-built service, Pinhoe View could be the right choice for you.

With previous experience working in healthcare through the NHS or private sector, you’ll receive training to join the team where you will be valued and supported, with career development opportunities available.

It’s a career that you can take pride in while enjoying the satisfaction of helping people and seeing them improve. It’s what delivering great healthcare should feel like.

What you will be doing

You will join the team that works well together to provide care for people with acute mental health conditions. Whether you have been a Support Worker or a Care Worker, you will utilise your experience to support people to lead a valued and fulfilled life.

As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you'll support the physical health team and the registered Dietician in delivering care plans and referrals. This will see you work closely with the catering department ensuring that service user’s dietary requirements are assessed on admission, checking for allergies and intolerances and communicating this with the catering department.

It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve; being able to do something today that they couldn’t do last week because of you.

We are actively encouraging female candidates to apply for this role Pinhoe View due to the female-only service user population. This is to accommodate the needs of our service users in the most efficient manner.
